FibroWalk Idea

Leave Tom some comments about the FibroWalk here! Would you be able to walk it? How short should the route be? Could you help organize it? Have you taken part in other fundraising walks? If so, how was the experience? Was getting donations hard? Was a free T-shirt included? Where did the walk take place at? We are still in the brainstorming phase and need lots of input!

I think T-shirts would be great so we could all wear them on that day and be recognized as a group. We could do a short walk somewhere high-profile like College Ave downtown Appleton, so people there would ask us what was going on and learn about the group/illness.

I agree with all of the ideas you presented Ellen. We'll need input from others but this is a great starting point. Thanks.

The firbro walk idea is great. I also think the t-shirts are a great way to identify our group. As the group grows we can start to be recognized and have a good number of participants.

To whomever stumbles upon this site please be aware that it is no longer functioning and the information found here is incorrect. I no longer facilitate this group but it does however continue to meet on the last Tuesday of each month at 6pm at St. Elizabeths hospital in Appleton. Go in the main entrance and go up the stairs.
Thanks,
Tom
